2017 Generation Beauty Los Angeles was held at the Staples Center at the LA Deck. I was invited by Ipsy 0S which was complementary access to the event. Thank you Ipsy!! I, on the other hand paid for a ticket so that my daughter can attend the event with me. It was a bit different this year and a lot of different vendors from the first time we attended. The thing that I did not like was that the meet ups prevented people from standing in line and getting their free product. Not only that, a lot of vendors ran out of product fast which was not even half way through the event. I was not in the mood to stand in line for the scheduled meet ups but I really wanted to see some of the cool and amazing people I know and have met on YouTube. Honestly, there was just too much people at the event which was definitely a good thing but it was getting a bit annoying. The highlight of our day was that we got to spend girl time as mother and daughter and I got to meet a dear friend of mine Lizzy from WhatWouldLizzyDo (subscribe to her... like now!) and got to meet up with Mama WoopWoop and Glen! They are one of the sweetest people I have met and such great people. It was really nice to sit there and chat with them for a while and can say that me and mama really had a lot of things in common! It was so packed that we ended up just heading out early and thought we would just finish the rest of the event on Sunday since it is a two day event. Come Sunday, let's just say that Generation Beauty was shut down for a long period of time because of the storm that hit us. We got soaked and stood in line for a while before we realized this was not worth the risk. We hope everyone also stayed safe at the event. We had a long drive home and we wanted to make it home safe.
In the end, just wanted to give a BIG thank you to Ipsy for having such an event and working hard to personalize each person's experience a great one.
Come with us on our mini trip to LA's 2017 Generation Beauty event. It was definitely something to look back on! :)
